UV-method for the determination of Succinic Acid in foodstuffs, 
feed, wine and other materials

Principle:
                             (succinyl-CoA synthetase)
(1) Succinic acid + ATP + CoA → ADP + succinyl-CoA + P_i

             (pyruvate kinase)
(2) ADP + PEP → ATP + pyruvate

                         (L-lactate dehydrogenase)
(3) Pyruvate + NADH + H⁺ → NAD⁺ + L-lactic acid

Method:                            Spectrophotometric at 340 nm
Reaction time:                  ~ 6 min
Detection limit:                 0.26 mg/L
