Glass beads are designed for use with the Disruptor Genie™ or TurboMix™ attachment (used with Vortex-Genie® 2 or Vortex-Genie® 2T) for optimum disruption of bacteria, yeast, fungi and other cells. Two sizes are available, 0.1mm (bacteria), 0.5mm (yeast, fungi and other sample types).
